Stockholms Stadsbyggnadskontor (SBK) is responsible for the physical planning of the city. This includes overarching plans regarding areas such as housing, workplaces, traffic and the environment. SBK is also responsible for planning permissions, the supply of city maps, and facility grants to adapt homes for disabled people. It is one of Stockholm’s local service departments.
Today, SBK uses an information management solution that is not only outdated, but requires extensive management. It is an early version of Public 360° and no longer meets SBK’s requirements for future development. SBK needs a more standardised, easily manageable solution that can support development moving forward.
This is why SBK has chosen a new document and case management solution/upgrade, based on the latest version of Public 360°. Through a framework agreement via Consid, Lemontree has initiated a comprehensive implementation project which will include subsequent support and management. Lemontree’s solution will provide SBK with more cost-effective information management, in turn offering a better service to the city’s residents and workforce.
“Lemontree has delivered our most successful project to date” is some of the praise we received after a recent comprehensive Public 360° implementation project at Stockholm’s traffic office, Trafikkontoret. That’s why it’s really great to be able to help another of Stockholm’s services to develop their activities and reap more benefits,” said Thomas Martinsson, CEO and founder of Lemontree.
